Volt Tech 2-brush generator is 12 volt type without gear. Generator fits 1936-1969 FLH including Flathead models. On pre-1958 models the engine case must be drilled to 5/16 to accept late mount bolts. Gear kit must be ordered separately. Features a close interfence fit tool should be used to install gear. Gear should not slide on loosely. Pressing on the gear may force the solenoid out of the back.
